The provider's site states, among other things (Taxfix):

Self-employed: "Taxfix für Selbständige macht deinen Steuer-Workflow einfacher" (Taxfix for the self-employed makes your tax workflow easier).
VAT: the availability table lists "Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung für Unternehmer[…]"; whether it is available is not clear from the retrieved text.
Sending: "Dank API-Schnittstelle zu ELSTER werden deine Daten sicher ans Finanzamt übermittelt." (through an API to ELSTER the data goes to the tax office)
Not mentioned: EÜR, trade tax and OSS do not appear on the retrieved home page.

For whom does Taxfix fit, and for whom the alternative?

Taxfix fits if you want to do your personal tax return in an app and have no marketplace business in other EU countries.

VAT GPT fits if you sell on Amazon or eBay to private customers in other EU countries. If you are established only in Germany and these distance sales (together with certain electronic services) exceed 10,000 € net in the previous or the current year, VAT of the country of destination applies (§ 3c(4) UStG); instead of registering in each country, you can report it through the OSS scheme with the BZSt (§ 18j UStG, BZSt: One-Stop-Shop). VAT GPT reads the marketplace reports and calculates VAT for Germany and the EU from them. VAT GPT is not bookkeeping or order software and does not replace tax advice.

What this means for you: With no marketplace sales abroad you may not need the alternative at all.
